Boxcar Airshow - 2014

We positioned the recently restored cargo ramps on the plane in preparation for the upcoming airshow, and boy, did they look good!

Ollie, Paul Nothnagle, and Paul Lazzara brought out the searchlight to display with the Boxcar.

Paul L. and Zack have been working hard to get the light looking good for the show.

The back of the plane was opened up fully as if to load the searchlight into it. The light is quite large, but would fit if adjusted properly.

The airshow audience used the shade from the C119's wings and elevator to keep cool during the show.

Paul had a special surprise for us - with help from Brian S. he got the light working! A small, but powerful bulb was installed to give a good impression of what an operational light would look like.

The ramps look factory fresh. The spotlight looks good too.

Great photos. Thank you for sharing them.
